Cake Care

Transporting your cake
 

Please be careful when picking up the cake as if held incorrectly the box may cause some damage.
Please hold the cake box from the bottom and do not press against the sides of the box to prevent them from touching the cake. 

Your cake needs to be flat in the car, either placed in the footwell or secured in the boot.

Please do not place the cake on the seat in the car as this is not a level surface and will risk the cake getting damaged. 

The cake needs to be kept as cool as possible when in the car so air con needs to be turned up, especially in the summer months.

Storage

Buttercream cakes need to be stored in the fridge to keep firm and prevent from melting/ collapsing

Cakes are best served at room temperature so please take the cake out of the fridge for at least 30mins- 1hr before serving

Fondant cakes need to be kept in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight

Cakes can be consumed up to 3 days after collection 

After the cake has been cut, put the remaining cake in an air tight container or wrap in tin foil/ cling film to help keep the cake moist/ prevent from drying out. 


 

Terms & Conditions
 

A deposit is required to secure your order.
Once we have sent the invoice with deposit details we will hold your booking for 48 hours. If you have not paid the deposit within 48hrs of receiving the invoice, you may lose your booking slot and will have to contact us to clarify if we still have space for you.


Once your order has left the premises we are not responsible for any damages.
